I’m a nearly 15-year veteran of the industry. I grew up on a farm near Crawfordsville, Indiana and spent my days helping on the farm, learning to play piano, running around with my dog Diggidy, going to camp every summer, and just generally doing my best to stand out as the middle child among my 4 brothers and sisters. I took my love of music to Butler University where I majored in Music Composition and wanted one day to write scores for movies. I developed a passion for giving back during my years attending Camp Riley for Kids with Disabilities since the age of 9, and from there I went back to be a staff member every summer during my college years, eventually founding the music therapy program there that continues to this day. I have stayed active in music ever since, whether it is singing in choirs, filling in as conductor at Church, playing piano for weddings, or taking the occasional composition or arranging request. Right out of college, however, it became apparent that music was probably not going to be my future, so I began studying for my financial licenses and building my business from the ground up.
I met my wife Bethany in 2013, also from a farm and at the time a Registered Nurse at a hospital, and we got engaged a few years later in Olympic National Park. We have been married since 2016. We have two beautiful boys, Jesse and Kiam, Bethany has since left nursing to be at home with them, and we spend our time exploring parks, dancing around the piano, traveling whenever possible, and visiting grandparents on the farm.
